Suggest Treatment For Forearm Weakness
Forearm weakness
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
There should be no muscle weakness normally with a muscle sprain or mild to moderate trauma. Nerve damage , neuropathy / nerve entrapment, vascular compromise are possible complications with such a presentation. After examining the upper limb, X rays of the shoulder and elbow joints along with the bones involved ie humerus, radius and ulna can be done to rule out the possibility of a fracture or dislocation. NSAIDS are usually given for 7 to 10 days for associated inflammation. If the weakness persists then Nerve conduction studies and electromyography can be advise in consult with your doctor.
Please consult your doctor before taking any further course of action
