Suggest Treatment For Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge
Question: I have what I think is a bladder infection then started my period a week early but noticed that the smell of the discharge was like a rotten potato .. before all this I had a new sex partner.. what could all this mean

It could be a urinary tract infection .
Kindly get a urine analysis and microscopy done to confirm it along with a complete blood count.
If i was your treating physician i would like to treat you with prescription medications like:
1. Antibiotics- (Ciprofloxacin - Tinidazole) combination twice daily for 7 days.
2. Tablet omeprazole 20 mg daily half an hour before breakfast for 7 days.
3. Di sodium citrate syrup to alkalinise the urine.
Kindly consult a physician before taking these medications.
Drink lots of water to flush out impurity.
If there is any foul smelling vaginal discharge , you can apply a topical antibiotic (Clindamycin cream 2%) cream on the vagina(available over the counter).
Since you had a new partner i would like to know if there are any small bump like swellings in the vagina? Is your partner having any problems?
In future kindly use barrier methods(Condoms) during intercourse to prevent spread of infections.
