Brief Answer:
Can be a normal finding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The warmness in the fractured foot if it is not associated with swelling or redness in the area and it has been less than 7 days since she was injured then it is likely to be a normal finding. If the warmness is persistent for more than a week and there is any visible redness in the area then an infection at the site of fracture needs to be ruled out after a direct examination.
It is best to keep the foot elevated on two pillows while resting to decrease pain, swelling and redness.
I hope this answers your query.
