Suggest Treatment For Frequent Urination, Lower Abdominal Pain And Difficulty Urination

Question: Thank you for the response Doctor, Well I have had series of tests and I have also had quite a number of Antibiotics and nothing seems to be happening.

The infection is more in my Urinary tract and I usually urinate every 15 - 20 Minutes, which is very unusual and I usually feel that my urinary tract or my bladder is a little blocked when urinating in the morning as I need to push harder before the urine comes out and doesn't eventually rushes out but slowly with a odd smell and it also comes out very yellowish in color.
I usually feel this very itch in my urinary tract and feel pains in my lower abdomen sometimes when passing out urine and I also have these small numbers of blisters that comes out and itches too and I seldom itch very badly when having sex and ejaculating.

I am not diabetic and no medical illness.

I read your question and I understand your concern. Urinary tract symptoms are very much classic in its presentation for UTI but another aspect of Sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea etc also needs to be considered.

All you need is a good culture and sensitivity test of that yellow discharge as well as of urine and treat the symptoms with a combination of antibiotic.

I give my patients a combination of fosfomycin 3g once and repeated after 21 days and nitrofurantoin 6 hourly for ten days.

You consult you urologist and let them decide what is best for you.

Hello Doctor, thank you for your email and I have tried to look for the drug 'Fosfomycin'....I can't seem to find it in any pharmacy around me, please can you prescribe another which does the same thing as the 'Fosfomycin'....Thank you and waiting for your response.

Fosfomycin comes with the name of Monurol and is easily available in pharmacies around. I XXXXXXX red my personal experience according to the antibiogram of our patients in our setup.

You should get a urine culture and sensitivity and use the antibiotics accordingly. Just get to your doctor and let them decide what is best for you.

Thank you so much for your great response, attached is the test results I did last month before I was given some antibiotic injections and drugs which lasted for 5 days only, but still haven't seen any great improvements as I still do have the sharp itching inside my urinary tract which makes me press and squeeze my penis for little relief and also still have the pains in my bladder.

Gram positive cocci and pus cells in the urine al point to wards a Sexually transmitted disease like nisseria gonorrhea. You should get a doxycycline treatment for 7 days minimum. Stay protected and treat your partner as well. Abstain from coitus of any kind.

Consult an infectious disease specialist and let them fix it for you

As I mentioned no need to worry. These are antibiotic sensitive and easily curable. Doxycycline is just for prophylaxis. Seven days is the dosage. Just take 5 to 10 days of pencillin or any other broad spectrum antibiotics and hope for the best. These are fully recoverable disease. Staphylococcal infections are very easily treatable so no worries.

What people consider genital warts are mostly benign clogged sebaceous pores called Fordyce spots and self resolves. Wait and see maintain a good hygiene and wear loose undergarments. Abstain from any friction containing pleasure activity like Masturbation etc. If you have some discomfort in genitals get your doctor have a look.
