Suggest Treatment For Fundal Gastritis
Proton pump inhibitor therapy will be helpful.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Long term proton pump inhibitor therapy will be helpful in your case. I would suggest proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole and motility enhancers like itopride in such case.
Have you done helicobacter pylori test. ? Is it positive. ? If positive antibiotic therapy for its eradication also should be taken.
Diet is also an important factor in therapy. Avoid carbonated drinks, coffee and excess tea, fatty fried and greasy foods. Take light meals at short intervals. Cold drinks also will irritate stomach. It is better to take warm water. Avoid lying down after meals. At least have foods 2 hours before sleeping. You should also have proper sleep.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
Presently I am using ganaton total tablet daily once.
But my stomach upsets twice in a week. I am feeling like something is in my stomach and my stomach always hard. I am feeling very uncomfortable with these symptoms. When I lay down on the bed then only I feel comfort. I am 37 years old I was a heavy drinker before I got this problem. My lft and lipid profiles are normal. Please save me.
Rabeprazole extended release will be better.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Thank you for your follow up query.
Ganatone is pantoperazole (proton pump inhibitor) and itopride. Rabeprazole extended release tablets and itopride will be better for you. It will take some time to settle your stomach inflammation. You should follow a strict diet. Avoid alcohol as it may irritate stomach again.
A consultation with a gastroenterologist and regular follow up is well appreciated. Proper therapy with follow up will clear your problem. No need to worry.
Let me know if anything not clear. I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
From the past one month I am also experiencing burning sensation in my legs and hands also. I was consulted a neurologist and I have diagnosed with nerve function conductivity test also but the report was normal. Doctor told me this may be because of b12 deficiancy and he prescribed tablets for 3 months. I was diagnosed with cervical spondylosis in last year October and I was took vitamin d tablets for 2 months and that problem was vanished. Is this burning sensation in my legs abd hands due to gastric problems or cervical spondylosis problems or any other disease in me.I am suffering with excess anxiety tensions and illusions also from past 2 years also. Is this is the cause for my health conditions. Please reply me soon. Please suggest me.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can give burning sensation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Thank you for your follow up query.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can give burning sensation in legs. B12 levels in blood should be carried out. In case of gastric problems this can occur also. In such case Vitamin B12 ( cyanocobalamin) injections will make you better.
Cervical spondylosis will give problems in neck and both hands but not legs. Lumbar spondylosis which give nerve irritation can cause burning sensation on legs. As your nerve conductivity test is normal this is most unlikely also.
A follow up with your neurologist is well appreciated if condition persist.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
