Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
I could see some redness in one of the photos. But I could not see anything in the second photo.
It seems that the fungus has become resistant to the medicine. This is a very common scenario with use of antifungals. Since terbinafine and candid-B is not working, I would suggest that you discontinue both. You also need to understand that this is happening from inside skin and topical antifungals only suppress it for sometime. Increasing the immunity works best. Medicines work for only sometime.
My suggestions are as follows:
- Apply antifungal lotion or ointment like Zole. It has miconazole which is long lasting and usually requires application of medicine every two or three days.
- Can also try antiallergic mediicne like cetirizine to be taken twice a day to control the itch
- Avoid oral antibiotics as much as possible
- Avoid rubbing of synthetic clothes
- Wear clothes in such a way that the area remains dry. Wear loose cotton clothes through which air can pass.
- Improve your immunity with fruits/salads, regular exercise
- Cleanest drinking water from an RO system
Let your immunity fight the infection. Oral anti-fungals and antibiotics may disrupt normal flora and upset your immunity.

How long can we wait for the immunity to build up, Will the infection not become severe and have some greater affect. Will it not spread and cause any other harm?
It should not get worse
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
I can understand your concerns.
Zole is a brand name for miconazole while candid is a brand name for clotrimazole. Zole is longer acting than candid and is a different chemical from the same group of medicines with somewhat different properties.
Zole is available in XXXXXXX
Zole can be applied once or twice a day. But even if you miss a day than its effect will last.
Once the immunity is lost, it is hard to build. It can be maintained with the above recommendations.
Infection will not become severe if you take the above precautions. If precautions are taken, it will not spread or cause any harm.
