Brief Answer:
Ring worm

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the information.

Based on the location and appearance, I believe it to be fungal infection. But fungal infections are usually associated with itching.

I shall recommend application of antifungal ointment like miconazole for three days and observe. If the lesion fades, it ascertains the diagnosis.

If the lesion turns brown or black please let me know because such lesions are due to completely different pathology.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
Ecchymosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If the lesion turns black, it indicates that the red spots are due to bleeding into the layers of the skin. Such spots happen due to defective clotting mechanisms.
