Suggest Treatment For Fungal Skin Infection On Body
Question: I have extremely dry skin and really bad itching/skin picking problems. It is especially bad on my scalp, face, nose and front and back of my neck. It's got to the point where I have sores on my scalp and potentially losing hair. I have really bad sore spots on the back of my neck and ears that bleed when I pick at them.
I don't know if this is relevant but I also get tired very easily and frequent headaches.

Brief Answer:
Looks like fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Looks like fungal infection.Other thing which can present like this is seborrheic dermatitis and rarely psoriasis.
First step would be try antifungal creams, oral antifungal medications and ketoconazole lotion on these affected areas. Also wash your hairs with antifungal /candid shampoo.Keep the areas clean and dont pick on them.
Try this for two weeks, if there is partial resolutions , continue this for three months. If symptoms persist then see doctor to rule out other possibility which I have suggested.
Please ask if there are doubts.Regards.

Brief Answer:
Yes, these areas are prone for fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Yes, these areas are prone for fungal infection. Try antifungal cream and if that helps diagnosis is confirmed.
OCD seems little more far fetched diagnosis.Try oral antihistaminics, this should stop feeling to scratch repeatedly. And in turn this will rule out OCD.
