Question: Hi, I'm a 42 yr old male and have been feeling bloated with a low grade fever since last Friday. I haven't eaten much in the last 3 days but still feel bloated and nauseous at times. I do not have any flu symptoms like runny nose or cough.

Gastritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

From the symptoms you have explained it looks like you are suffering from gastritis which can often present as low grade fever, bloating and loss of appetite

Here is what you should do

1. Tab omeprazole with domperidone is the ideal tablet for you. It has to be take once daily before food
2. Avoid smoking and alcohol until you are better
3. Avoid caffeine, milk and milk products
4. Keep your food bland. Avoid spicy food
5. Avoid food that causes gaseous distention like sprouts, beans, nuts, aerated drinks, etc
6. Eat on time and at regular intervals, dont be irregular
7. Do not sleep immediately after having food, have an early dinner and stay up for atleast 2 hours

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
