Suggest Treatment For Gastroenteritis

Question: Hi Doctor, from last few days I feel uncomfortable with my stomach. Sometimes like sweet little pain or other. Also, I have noticed that I always feel that I should go to washroom or so but wait works. And if I go I will get a little or no potty. What should I do to correct this?

Read and understood your concern.
Few days history of being uncomfortable with abdomen and feeling of going to washroom but little or no potty indicates that you have a mild form of gastroenteritis.
I hope you do not have other symptoms of nausea, vomiting, fever or bloating.

I would advise the following in such a case :
Get the blood and stool tests done
Get started with a proper antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics on a prescription of your Doctor.
Go for a suitable soft bland diet.
Boiled and cooled water.
Home made fresh food only.

I hope this should solve your problems.
Further tests and treatment would be required only if required.
