Suggest Treatment For Glossitis
Question: I have this on going symptom on my tongue that has been treated as thrush. I've been on two different medicines and has not gone away. What could it be?

I have used nystatin and another type that are tablets to suck on. Neither of them worked.

I have reviewed the attached photograph and it is looking like glossitis which is inflammation of the tongue.
It has multiple causes.
It is not looking like fungal infection.
Are you having any burning or itching on the tongue?
Have you taken any long term antibiotics?
Are you having anemia, any nutritional deficiency or any other ailments?
Kindly revert back with the answers.

I have reviewed the attached photograph and it is looking like glossitis which is inflammation of the tongue.
It has multiple causes.
It is not looking like fungal infection.
Are you having any burning or itching on the tongue?
Have you taken any long term antibiotics?

There is no pain, or burning. I honestly dont know if i have any deficiencies. I also have endometriosis.

It is looking like glossitis due to deficiency of iron or other vitamins.
I would recommend you to get your complete blood count along with assays of serum iron levels, serum folic acid and serum vitamin B 12.

So my doctor thinks its possibly lukoplakia? Im also achy with these tongue symptoms.
