Question: Iikelihood of gonorreah, took treatment 3 days before test. test came back negative for chlamydia. symptoms have persisted. no discharge. no green discharge. oral sex.

Had a 2 secs of fellatio. literally. within a few days got urehtritis. was pretty bad. i had levaquin and took a few tabs and on the third or fourth day had a urinalysis done and it came back negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea... would the levaquin have cured it in a few days? on going symptoms?

Does most gonorrhea have discharge?

and what i meant is would the levaquin cure it (started on Tuesay) - and by saturday would it have cured? or is it more telling of NGU

Brief Answer:
Looks like a case of UTI rather than urethritis.

Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!

Majority of urethritis has discharge whether it is gonorrhea or NGU. I would think that you may have had bacterial UTI which is easily killed by the levofloxacin that you took. The doxycycline would take care for the chlamydia and other causes of NGU.

If you currently don't have symptoms now and urinalysis came out negative then you are currently cured and your antibiotic use was done correctly and appropriately.

I still have symptoms but less severe. In cases when you've seen gonorrhea when have you seen discharge?

Does it cause pain in shaft?

Would llevaquin kill gono in a few days?

Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!

Yes gonorrhea will present with urethral discharge almost all the time. Yes it will present with painful urination on the tip and on the shaft.

There are species of gonorrhea that is susceptible to levofloxacin and majority of bacteria that causes UTI is treated with levofloxacin.
