Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
The treatment offered by your doctor is quite OK. You may add colicaid 5 drops 3-4 times daily to relieve gas and pain abdomen. Continue breast feeding as usual. If the there is fowl odor of stools, the baby may require antibiotic. It seems like a viral infection and will clear up soon.
Anyways it is better to get the stool exam both microscopic as well as culture. This will rule out infection.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose

Good evening Doctor, my 2-month old child is crying endlessly today. Actually he is mostly on formula milk as breast milk is not sufficient. We give him 70 ml every 2-1/2 hours. He sleeps on lap but once you put him down, he starts crying. Right now he is on Mucolite and Nutrolin B and Nasoclear nasal drops. This is happening only today. Wanted to know if the milk is sufficient. He weighs 5.1. kg for his age. Is this the correct weight??
Brief Answer:
His weight for his age is quite normal.

Hi,
Thanks for asking follow up query on healthcare magic.
His weight is quite normal for his age.
I feel milk is sufficient for him whether it is breast milk or formula or both.
Continue colicaid 5 drops every 6 hourly.
Kindly let me know the stool examination report.
In case it is badly necessary to make him sleep Pedichloryl syrup one ml (15 drops) may be given for sedation.
Hope this reply serves your purpose.
