Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am Dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern. I have also viewed the Images
You seem to have Androgenetic alopecia.
Androgenetic alopecia (AA) is characterized by thinning and hair loss mainly from the front, mid and vertex of scalp. In addition patients of androgenetic alopecia also notice a gradually receding anterior hair line from the frontal and temporal region of scalp which manifests as an "M-shaped" anterior hair line.
Minoxidil and finasteride are approved remedies for androgenetic alopecia in males. I suggest that you start with Mintop forte 5% solution (contains minoxidil 5% solution). Use 1 ml of this solution, twice daily on scalp skin. Use the dropper that comes with this pack for easy application directly on to scalp skin. Start applying from the center of scalp to avoid trickling on to face and gradually move outwards. Use it twice daily.
In addition I suggest you to take a tablet of finasteride (finax) once daily. Finasteride is an inhibitor of 5 alpha reductase enzyme, which converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is the main culprit that causes thinning and hair fall in androgenetic alopecia. Hence finasteride by inhibiting this enzyme counters the action of DHT on hair follicles thus benefiting these patients.
Treatment is long term. Earlier the treatment is started, the better it is. Goal of medical treatment is to arrest or slow down further progression of androgenetic hair loss and reverse early hair loss.

Hi.
Discontinue proanagen.
Finasteride is approved for use in androgenetic alopecia. It has no sexual side effects though 1-2% individuals report a reduction in libido but that is temporary and resolves on continued treatment.
