Brief Answer:
A number of causes

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

This could be due to a number of reasons including electrolyte disturbances caused by dehydration.. So I would recommend that you keep yourself adequately hydrated by drinking at least eight cups of water daily. Another reasons include magnesium, calcium or sodium deficiencies. So I would recommend that you get a blood test to check on their levels in your blood. Also hyperthyroidism could cause such symptoms, so I would recommend that you get a blood test to check on your thyroid hormonal profile including T3, T4 and TSH.

I hope you find this helpful.
