You could be having fine tremors.
Avoid caffeine, tobacco and alcohol. Get your blood pressure and blood sugar tested. Drink plenty of water daily. Do daily brisk walking exercise for 45 minutes.
Even anxiety can cause this so do try relaxation techniques like Yoga, Pranayam and deep breathing exercises.
This can be problem of the cerebellum in the brain. An MRI and CT Scan can help find any such lesions.

Will this cause or is this any indication of more serious complications?
Brief Answer:
Not getting worse
Detailed Answer:
If the disease hasn't gotten worse, it could indicate simple essential tremors. Get the tests done to rule out other conditions anyway, to put other possible diagnosis to rest.
