Tremors can be due to a lot of reasons

1
Anxiety
2
Emotion
3
Exercise
4
Fatigue
5
Fever

The Following Endocrine System Problems also cause tremors (Few of these also can cause osteoporosis)
1
Adrenocorticosteroids
2
Hypoglycemia
3
Pheochromocytoma
4
Thyrotoxicosis

In case you are known to suffer from any of the above, proper treatment of these conditions can give relief from the tremors

The Following Drugs also can cause tremors
1
Drugs like Beta agonists (e.g., theophylline, terbutaline, epinephrine) Cyclosporine
2
Dopaminergic drugs (levodopa, dopamine agonists) Methylxanthines (coffee, tea)
3
Psychiatric drugs (lithium, neuroleptics, tricyclics) Stimulants (amphetamines, cocaine)
4
Valproic acid

In case you are taking any of the above drugs, we have to modify the doses of the drugs and try alternatives

Exposure to the Following substances also can cause tremors
1
arsenic,
2
bismuth,
3
bromine,
4
mercury,
5
lead

Ethanol withdrawal can also cause tremors

Tremors can be also due to Neurological Problems like
1
Parkinsonism
2
Cerebellar disorders

How to proceed ?
1. In case one or more of the above mentioned points suit you, we can start treatment right away
2. Else, we have to do Detailed Blood Investigations, Nerve Conduction Studies and MRI Brain
