Question: When lying on my back I feel a hard lump or organ between my belly button and my pelvis. About the size of an orange. Should I be concerned? I have been taking Vesicare for a few months.

First noticed a lump in February. It was movable somewhat.
Does not bother me when coughing or walking. Cannot feel it when standing.
Originally subsided when I had been up for 30 minutes or so, but now is still there if I lie down.
Take medication for blood pressure & cholesterol - both under control. In fact BP is now 115/62 or lower (upper number). Take omeprazole for acid and vesicore to make bladder empty - both started early this year. Also take Alendronate sodium for osteoporosis.
No diabetes.

Brief Answer:
Most probably divarication of rectus sheath

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. Most probable differential in your case could be divarication of rectus sheath. In this, there is weakness of anterior abdominal wall muscles that can result in swelling/lump like feeling. I would suggest you to once visit hospital and get ultrasound of that lump done. it will confirm the status of anterior abdominal wall. if confirmed then visit a surgeon. he will discuss treatment options. In most cases physiotherapy & exercises are advised. If it causes significant symptoms then surgery is considered.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
