Suggest Treatment For Hardened Bumps At The Right Ankle Where Rashes Were Treated With OTC Hydrocortisone Cream

Question: Hi, my name is XXXXXXX I had a slight rash on my right ankle. I used some OTC hydrocortisone cream and it seemed to clear up. Now I see some hardened bumps under the skin. These bumps are relatively painless, but can be sensitive to touch.

Were the bumps there before applying the Hydrocortisone cream ?

I'm not sure it they were there when the rash first started, but the skin was very rough and the surface was kind of rec and pimply.

Hi,

The lesions appear ones seen due to allergy.

They will subside, you may have to continue on anti- allergic medications for few more days. Avoid Hydrocortisone further, can take Benadryl for three more days from now.
