Question : I am scheduled for hip replacement in 4 days. Was hit in the head last tonight and may have a mild concussion (light sensitivity, headache). What should I do?

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Internal brain injury due to head injury depends upon many things.
What was the mode of injury?
Any loss of consciousness, vomiting, seizure, bleeding via ear and nose, neurological deficit.
Mild headache is usual and may improve with pain killers.
You may communicate to your operating doctor for need of any neuroimaging before surgery.
