Question: My adult (20 years old) son has had nausea, vomiting, headaches since early this morning. Just woke me up complaining of dizziness also (vomiting etc have improved since this morning). Is there anything that I can do for him? No fever, he just took an advil migraine and a chewable Dramamine for the headache and nausea about 3 hours ago.
Thanks
He just put his feet up and said that is helping reduce his dizziness. I also had him try and eat some banana.
His condition seems to be improving a bit.

Brief Answer:
Let him drink much water!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for contacting us at healthcare magic.

I have reviewed your son's information fully. This is highly suggestive of a possible food intoxication. As he vomits or stools, the food content would be expelled and all will return to normal. I will not want to stop either the vomiting or any possible diarrhea. However, I recommend that he drinks copious amount of water to help restore any fluid losses that he might have suffered.

I wish him well and would appreciate updates on how he's fairing.
