Brief Answer:
Hello dear. It is a long acting drug
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.
Felodipine is a long acting drug whose effects last for 24 hours. So no need to worry. If the blood pressure control is inadequate, the dose can be increased.
You just have to take the medicine at a fixed time usually in the morning. Moreover, the effect does not wear of as the steady level of drug is maintained.
Regarding the breast cancer risk, i will advise you to undergo annual mammogram and clinical breast examination once in an year.
If you have further concerns and queries, feel free to ask
Thanks and regards
