Question: My van door hit me in the head pretty hard large knot almost broke skin very sleepy know hurts too.

Hello

Thanks for the query

If the trauma to the head was very bad then I highly recommend you to get a CT scan of the brain done. However for now this is what you should do

1. Cold compress to the swollen area
2. Tab tylenol three times a day to reduce the pain
3. If you experience headaches,blurring of vision, vomiting or increase in pain. Please approach the ER immediately.
