Question: hi how are you, I had a recent onset of headaches they are very mild dull headaches sometimes could even be classed as a full or strange feeling in my head there is a history of migraine and visual changes in my family I had my eyes fully tested when my vision changed they said it's more than likely migraine that they could not see any issues...I noticed my neck Is pretty stuff nearly all of the time with alot of the pain being behind my ears / back of my head right side but can radiate over my head I have staring spells too fairly frequently sometimes muscle spasms in my legs like twitching and my left arm can feel abit weak from time to time and trying to think of certain words has become difficult at times I suffer with very bad anxiety and depression I am my own worst enemy most of the time but I can't shake the feeling that this is something sinister like an aneurysm or brain tumour I feel some eye irritation at times too and my sleep has not been great waking up at odd hours I've had no vomiting or not alot of nausea

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are in favor of migraine and not an aneurysm or brain tumour.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to H.C.M.

Thanks for this detailed history.

I have gone through your given detailed history and understand your concerns.

Migraine is not just a bad headache with nausea and vomiting but may be collection of neurological symptoms as in your case.

Your symptoms are probably due to migraine headache with neurological symptoms (One type of migraine headache) and not due to Aneurysm or Brain tumor.

No need to scare because your stress will increase frequency and severity of migraine headache.

You headache can be controlled and you can live headache free life.

I advise my patient to follow these steps-

1) Do not change your routine sleep cycle.

2) Try to keep away stress and anxiety by Meditation and yoga.

3) Tryptomer (Amitriptyline) 25 mg during bed time daily under observation- It will reduce frequency, severity of headache and also depression.

4) Tablet - Sumatriptan 25 mg stat for immediate pain relief.
Please discuss regarding these medications with your doctor for examination and prescription.

Hope this answers your question.

Please do not hesitate for any query.

I will be happy to answer your questions.
