It appears that your father had a subdural collection or hemorrhage along the right parietal convexity and Burr hole surgery was done to evacuate the collection as it was causing pressure effect. Burr holes are routinely done for such purposes and has got a high success rate. However, any headaches in the days following the surgery should be discussed with the neurosurgeon and a CT scan brain done to see whether the operated area is clear of any post operative complications. Slight headache might persist for few days to weeks after surgery and will resolve over time.

The medication STROCIT PLUS contains citicoline 500 mg, piracetam 800 mg and this is helps in improving brain functions after surgery. SUPERMET-XL contains metoprolol and is given to control blood pressure and maintain blood flow in the brain.

If you have missed giving the medicine STROCIT PLUS for two days in morning then there is no need to worry as it has a neuroprotective action and there is not much harm done by not giving one dose in past two days. However please avoid missing and dose.

Please continue giving SUPERMET XL as recommended by your doctor because it is very important to control blood pressure and maintains blood flow in the brain. If it has happened one one occasion then there is no need to worry but please do not forget any dose of medications and double confirm that medications are given to him on time.
