Question: my husband has times when he gets a pain in the upper let side of his chest, light flashes in his right eye extreme dizziness upon standing up followed by bad headache the tiredness.

Hi,

Angiogram is probably the best next step in this case.
I am sure the doctors would have decided carefully after observing 2D ECHO, Ekg, Blood pressure. Pressure has to be monitored at every level, it is the frequent fluctuations in the blood pressure that cause such symptoms ofcourse with end damage to the heart.

Let me know the result after Angiogram.

When the treadmill test was done he kept blacking out so a nuclear test was done his pressure dropped so low they had to give him shots to bring it up and he complained about being extremely cold.

Both the tests above are sensitive towards heart disease and probably angiogram is the last best test to prove the same. Hence the doctors went ahead with its schedule.
