Brief Answer:
You should consult ENT Doctor for ear examination & Hearing Tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX ,
Thanks for the query.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

In my opinion , you should consult ENT Doctor for ear examination to rule out any earwax & Do Hearing tests like Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) to know % of hearing loss & whether it is age related or any other reason .

If it is age related hearing loss which is most common at your mother age then she will require hearing aid .

If it is due to ear drum perforation , hearing aid can be wear in other ear .

If both ear show eardrum perforation then at least one ear need surgery & then use hearing aid after ear drum perforation closure .

You will get relief .

Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Regards.
