Hi and thank you for asking!

You are reporting that your husband has a hiatal hernia and heart attach too.

Sometime symptoms may be the same between hiatal hernia and heart issues.
Hiatal hernia can cause breath difficulties, chest pain, stomach burning etc.
Otherwise in cases like heart issues symptoms are associated with ECG changes and heart ultrasound
signs.

I need to know whitch are the symptoms of you husband ?
Otherwise If I were his doctor I would suggest to take PPI' s like Prilosec Otc or other PPI'S like Nexium plus antacids like Mylanta or gaviscon.
In that way he will avoid acid reflux and it's symptoms caused by hiatal hernia.

Hope it was helpful to you.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
These symptoms that you are describing has nothing to do with Hiatal hernia.
To my opinion you should check about sugar level and pulse at this moment.

This is why to my opinion you need to do Holter of rhythm to better evaluate heart pulse.
Hope it was helpful to you.
