Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for your follow up query.
A. Since there is no past history of systemic illnesses, the symptoms can be attributed to side effects of Minoxidil 10%.
Under such conditions, relief will be obtained by either reduction of dose to 5% or changing the medication for treatment of hair loss & dandruff.
Kindly consult your treating Doctor/ Dermatologist and discuss regarding the same.
B. If you continue to get palpitations and high BP even after stoppage of Minoxidil, then a complete Cardiovascular evaluation needs to be done to rule out any underlying/ hidden Cardiac pathology.
In addition, I would suggest you to get your BP checked regularly.
C. Maintain proper hydration and nutrition status and avoid stress.
As the symptoms like palpitations and raised BP are known to aggravate in the background of stress, anxiety and improper nutrition status.
There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
