Hi Garvey welcome to HCM, Even though you are a good athlete
Detailed Answer:
Hi Garvey
welcome to HCM,
Even though you are a good athlete and doing a great job for your age, you have to be careful. There are numerous incidences of athletes developing cardiac (heart) enlargement and even sudden death. I would like you to take this seriously and get an EKG and 2D echo done. I am sure it will all come normal, but why take a chance? It will also remove any anxiety that you may have. Regards
