I had it for almost 6-7 months and took medical prescription. some relief is there but some times it crops up again, if some fried food is taken (I think). Took sonography test all clear except fatty liver. none of the above mentioned problems which you have asked, persists.
Brief Answer:
It seems to be acid peptic disease, please follow healthy dietary changes
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your reply
Looking at your detailed history it seems to be gastrointestinal disorder most likely acid peptic disease due to stomach hyperacidity or Hiatus hernia
Fatty liver may be contributing factor to your symptoms
Please follow these guidelines
Avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food or carbonated drinks
Say no to smoking and drinking
Have small and frequent meals
Avoid overeating
Have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables
Don't lie down immediately after food
Anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or omeprazole with antacids are advisable for 10 to 15 days
If it doesn't improve with that than you should consult a gastroenterologist for an X ray chest and an endoscopy if need be.
Hope this answers your question
Please feel free to ask for more information I will be happy to help you
wish you good health

thankyou for the reply.
One more point I would like to mention is that, whenever the stomach is distended/bloated there is slight pain at the left lower back at one point. There has always been a swelling on the left ankle which has reduced now after medication but has not gone away completely. Rarely the ankle pains when I walk or stand for long.
