Brief Answer:
ER
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
If your bleeding is continuous, heavy and unlike your period, I suggest you go to the ER to have it checked out right away.
If it is indeed not your period, you'll need medications to reduce bleeding and hospitalization to check for the source of bleeding and any cardiovascular compromise.
Expect to have a CT scan, blood work (to check for hemoglobin levels, clotting problems). If blood loss is significant, you may need intravenous fluids, blood transfusions and intensive care.
If it is a heavy period, you may prescribed drugs to control the bleed. Either way, I suggest going to ER right away. Better to be cautious.
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
