Suggest Treatment For Hemangiomas
In all other ways, I am a fairly healthy individual and wonder why this skin problem continues year after year with no real solution. Dermatologists I've seen pay little attention to me and rush me in and out, always disappointed that I receive little information to improve this condition long term. Can you help me? Thank you . Not much one can do
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You are correct the skin is the largest oraon of the body but we do not have many treatments to help you condition. From your description the red dots are called hemangiomas which are growths of blood vessels just below the skin. These are harmless and do not need treating. Treatment would cause more damage and disfigurement to your skin
You other condition with the white painless patches are skin damage from prior sun exposure. There is no treatment to prevent these areas from forming. We can only treat those lesions that appear. So no matter how much sunscreen you put on or other moisturizers nothing to stop their formation
In summary all your current skin problems originated when you were younger and now they are appearing. You just need to continue to follow with your dermatologist and get treated for those lesions that appear dangerous
