How long should it take for the hematuria to clear up? It is Christmas holidays so I can't get in touch with my MD, and I don't want to go to ER

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I agree that stopping citostasol will be the best thing to do in this situation.
It is OK to stop it abruptly.
Regarding hematuria it will stop gradually in the next days.
If it doesn't stop in the next days, I would recommend go to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:
- complete blood count for anemia and platelet count
- an urine analysis
- an urinary tract ultrasound
- renal function tests.
Meanwhile I recommend taking plenty of fluids.
Kind regards,
