Suggest Treatment For Hemorrhoids

Question: I have had hemrroids for a month now. I just wanted some advice on what to do.

Thank you for the query.

First of all you need to know that there is no medicine which will cause your hemorrhoids to disappear. No doubt in that. Using suppositories, you can only deal with hemorrhoids inflammation. So you may find it helpful with the pain, itching and discomfort. But once again, this wont cause hemorrhoids to disappear.

I suggest you to try such treatment first:
- start fiber and probiotic intake
- have sitz baths with Oak Bark twice a day for 7 days
- wash your anus after every stool
- do not push hard on stool

If this treatment wont cause acceptable improvement, please consult general surgeon or proctologist and consider hemorrhoids removal.
