Brief Answer:
Details follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
See chronicity is the hallmark of Hepatitis C.
So we advise treatment irrespective of the levels and irrespective of the liver function tests.
I would advise you to get following as baseline investigations:
1. Liver Function Test.
2. HCV Genotyping.
3. Upper GI Endoscopy and Ultrasound abdomen.
Depending on the genotype we advise duration of the treatment.
You have to take the injections under a specialist supervision.
Presence of heart problem is not an absolute contraindication for treatment but a supervision is required.
So don't think much just go ahead.
If you have any further query please ask me else close the discussion and rate it.
