Question: Yes, thanks. My BP is 162/104. I am a 62 year old female. It has only recently been this high. I am taking clonidine .1mg twice each day. Would it be okay to take a third clonidine now?

Brief Answer:
You can take. Watch blood pressure closely.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Blood pressure is high, you can take third clonidine.

2. However, if it does not come under control and starts to raise above 180 systolic or 110 diastolic, it is very serious, go to hospital emergency.

3. Do keep a watch on the blood pressure after medication

Any further queries, happy to help again.
