Brief Answer:
Diet&lifestyle changes are also important...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
1. Your blood pressure (bp) is considered "slightly elevated". I need to know:
- for how long have you been taking antihypertensive medications?
2. If you started telma and lipicure few weeks ago, I advise to wait for another few weeks before adding other drugs to your actual therapy.
3. Apart cardiac examinations, it is also important to run kidney function test as kidney problems can lead to high bp. Once they are properly cured, bp will be back to normal again.
On the other side, bp and drugs can cause problems to your kidney.
4. Diet is also important. Avoid :
- caffeinated drinks
- salty foods/drinks
- oily/fried foods
All the best!
