Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure

Question: It started when I went to dr for my arm very painful taking my blood pressure it was high 180/100 i said it was because of the pain he didn't buy that so after he put me on baclofen 10mg times3 then naproxen 500mg 2times metoprolol tartrate 50 mg 2times the first day on all the meds was last Thursday Friday I was a zombie very drugged had to do work very slow my full of pressure went thru the weekend first day I could go back to the dr was tues I hold him very that is very altered head feels full of pressure can't eat my blood pressure was 118/75 this was deferent dr he changed the blood pressure med to hydrochloride 25mg stared on Wednesday am today is Sunday still have issues server sweating head pressure my family got a blood pressure cup and have been taking it it's all over place the last bp was 146/103 pulse 100 it taken when I'm have a attack the head pressure sweating some pain I arm also just the last couple of days server pain in my feet they trying to curl wake me up at night

It seems to me that the general health condition is not right with you. Though you appear stable the high blood pressure are alerting me to warn you about possible emergencies. I suggest you to rest for a week without any other business.

I also suggest you should monitor the blood pressure more frequently. At this time I would suggest an annual general check up including blood sugar, cholesterols, 2D ECHO for heart enlargement.

Please ask your current doctor about these.

I had fasting blood work blood suger 80 cholesterol 218 other thing I don't know they did a ECG at the clinic afert reading want I wrote I'm kinda everywhere I did stop the baclofen on tues along with the first blood pressure meds .I still have side effect we did take my blood pressure yesterday at 8am it was 141/87 after feeding horses and cleaning pen head full of pressure cold sweat then at 12.50 pm it was 134/94 after actively and at 625pm It was 146/103 I was not feeling good head pressure sweating arm painful i took the blood pressure med hydrochloride at 630 pm

Hi,

The blood sugar, cholesterol parameters are not concerning. IF they had ECG testing and did not find anything serious it is good.

So headache could be just because of high pressure. So I think the only things to be done is to monitor blood pressures regularly and control it under 120/80 with medication. Obviously when you have high pressure you cannot eat, sleep properly. The doctor may have to add one more drug to bring the blood pressure under control. I think you should not blood pressure randomly. Set time say once in three days after your morning walk. You should measure only once a day there is no point in measuring too many time. It unnecessarily puts extra stress.
