Brief Answer:
Need to diagnose; ?? grade 3 hypertension

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir/ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and shall try my best to help you as much as possible. A blood pressure reading of 190/.. mm Hg is indeed high. This systolic blood pressure reading would be categorized as grade 3 hypertension (which is considered severe). But we require at least three blood pressure reading to make a diagnosis and to assess the category of medications required to help your mother.

I would strongly advise you to schedule a doctors appointment, so she can get elaborately evaluated and diagnosed. There are various other contributing factors which can result in such high blood pressure readings, and if at all they are present we will have to find and treat them accordingly.

I request you not to waste any more time as high blood pressure can result in various target-organ damages, some of which are quite serious.

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again.

I completely agree, stress is a major contributing factor to high blood pressure. Do speak to her, and try to relax her regarding her health. If at all this does not help, then schedule a psychiatric consultation for her. Do not get me wrong here, psychiatrists can help her to relax, talk to her about her fears and in a professional manner help her to forget her fears.

I would also advice an ambulatory blood pressure monitoring device to be used for a duration of 24 hours if at all this has not already been used. This helps to record her blood pressure and cardiac readings throughout the day, recording all those instances her blood pressure goes high.

I hope you find my response helpful sir/ma'am. Please feel free to write back to me anytime, I am always available to help.

Best wishes.
