Question: I am a 60 year old mail who has diabetes. My blood sugar is currently at 230. I have been having pin point sharp pain in the back of my head. I also have ringing in the ears and ballance problems. the sharp pain I now have worries me.

If the HbA1c is higher than 6.5% means that the therapy should be adjusted.

A1c is at 10... why am I getting needle paind in the top of my head hainly twords the back top ?? I am scedualed to see my PA on Monday he gave me antibiotics but the shooting pain is still there. I am nervious.
