Suggest Treatment For High Fever Resulting In Fits
My son is 2 years old. In October he had high fever which resulted in fits. He had the attack for around 1 min & was rushed to hospital. Fever was controlled there. Following this, we were asked to use Tab. Frissium 5 mg along with P250 syrup for 4-5 days. On 3rd day of getting fits attack, we went for an EEG as suggested by doctor. The report read as “Abnormal Sleep Record”. Then we visited a neurologist who asked to repeat EEG on 7th day of getting fits. We went for the test on 10th day. There is no change in the report. It again read as “Abnormal Sleep Record”. Paediatric Neurologist prescribed Valparin syrup 2.5 ml twice a day. We gave it for 2 months (Nov, Dec). We consulted homeopathy doctor & he asked us to reduce the dose to 2.5 ml once per day for a month & slowly stop Valparin. After that he would give homeopathy medicines. Currently we are giving him Valparin once a day (2.5 ml). Is it harmful to stop Valparin? For how long do I need to give him homeo medicines? If I use them he would never get fits again in future? Are there any dietary restrictions when using homeo medicines? Currently I am using homeo for his skin allergy. Please help. Thank You.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Mamta
I appreciate your interest in homoeopathy. Your physician was right about decreasing the dose.
Sudden withdrawal of medicine may lead some serious effect. So medicine is withdrawn in gradual manner.
Homoeopathy has good role in the treatment of sleep disorder and there is no side effect of medicine: they are safe to use. I would request you to share your current homoeopathic medication so that i could suggest you best possible medicine for sleep disorder there course of medication and duration of action of medicine.
Also share details about fits: like during fits what are the symptom you observe.
There are few dietary restriction while taking medicine i will write in detail in next mail once you share the required detail.
Hope this is clear to you
