Brief Answer:
Generalised anxiety disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic and thanks for putting up the query
A heart rate of 88 bpm is normal and it can rise due to anxiety or stress or during any physical exercise. If you have palpitations at rest too, you should get an ECG done and get blood pressure checked.
Avoid caffeine and chocolates.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care
Thanks and regards
