Question: Did the splits felt a rip and now have ++pain at front of hip crease which travels to buttock. Limited ROM what is the most likely to be injured, muscle, ligament or labrum ??

The presence of pain and limited ROM is likely to be a muscle sprain. A ligament injury or a labrum tear is less likely as these are more likely to cause a difficulty in bearing down weight on the leg.
You need to have a complete rest and continue icing. If there is any visible swelling and you feel an excruciating pain on the leg movement then do consult an orthopedician for detailed investigations. Taking oral muscle relaxants will help till then.
