Suggest Treatment For Hoarseness In A Diabetic
Question: I am a type 2 diabetic, 81, a 14 yr pancreatic cancer survivor, been hoarse for a few weeks, primary interest is in holistic solutions/medications.

Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and going by your case history I'm of the following opinion:
1. Since you are a diagnosed case of Diabetes and under Insulin therapy thus your Endocrinologist have taken every necessary precaution(s) in reviewing your case.
2. regarding hoarseness which is a common symptom in older individuals [81 years] and slightly worried about the same thus one has to exclude a variety of causes whether they are physiological,medical,pathological or functional but two most common etiology in old age is/are; vocal cord bowing and unilateral vocal cord paralysis thus it will be wise to get an opinion of an ENT Specialist for further examination [laryngioscopy] and management, if the examination comes normal I'll be more than happy to furnish holistic medications and diet for your hoarseness.
