Brief Answer:
antibiotic required
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
You have developed insect bite hypersensitivity.
It's good that you are taking prednisolone but the dose is not adequate.
You need to take at least 40 mg daily for 2 days then 30 for 2 days 20 for 2 days 10 mg for 2 days and then stop.
Along with that an oral antibiotic is also must.
Bites introduce bacteria through the wound.
Look for any sting if it is still present.
It must be removed.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.

Take clindamycin
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Just move your fingers on the affected area gently.
If there is a sting you will have a sharp pain at a particular point.
You mentioned about clindamycin.
Probably you have clindamycin with you now.
You can take clindamycin after consulting your doctor.
Antibiotics can have side effects hence need to be used judiciously under an expert's observation.
Continue with benadryl for a week.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
