Posted on Mon, 6 Mar 2017
Question: This morning, I awoke with an indentation in my face on the left cheek just below the cheek bone.
I 've had a problem with a far back bottom tooth after a root cannel and cap for almost a year. pain can chew on it. Is there a connection? Can it be corrected. I've also had issues with my bit. I'm 58 years old.

the answer to the first 4 is no. But, there is a small blister in the inside of the cheek, in that area. And a little tender. you can,t really see it. I can feel it. I took a pic with my phone. But not sure how to get it to you.

I sent a photo, and answered your 5 question. If you need more let me know. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Not appearing due to any dental problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for writing back..

The indentation is not appearing due to any dental problems..

You need a clinical examination done to get ruled out for the cause of the indent as there can be multiple reasons for it like some loss of fat from the area, edema etc..

Your cheek is appearing a slightly swollen too, so it too needs to be reconfirmed by checking it clinically..

So after a proper examination only the cause can be ruled out..

Hope this information helps..

Regards.
