Dear Sir,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your query I will like to tell you that typhoid is an illness for which you will take at least 1 month to recover and it is highly advisable to avoid all the fatty foods along with spicy things and go very bland diet plus keep your nutrition scales high .

Take care.

Rest is not required as such , you should continue light activities for at least 15 days and then join your work but just concentrate on your diet.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Its a normal phenomenon to have low appetite post any illness like typhoid , i think it should improve gradually on its own and there is no need to take any appetite stimulants as it will add to pill burden and not recommended in recovery phase .
