Brief Answer:
Proper local care of the infected area required
Detailed Answer:
Hi
You seem to have developed an infected insect bite.
You should not apply hydrocortisone over ot .
Clean it with an antiseptic lotion twice a day followed by application of a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over it.
Take some oral antihistamine agent like tablet Claritin once a day and some anti inflammatory agent like paracetamol along.
Thys should take care of the infection and the associated swelling.
Do not apply bandaid over it. Kkep it open if possible . You can squeeze it and try draining the pus if any .

I cant get past the pus on the top. Should I pop it? How can I get under the ous?. Just leave it and ckean on top of it?
Brief Answer:
Wait till the pus comes out
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
You surely don't need to press it too hard.
Just keep it clean and apply the medicine as told. Once the pus us near the skin and ready to come out ,it will be visible and then you can try to remove it as much as possible. Do not try to press the lesion too much if it is not popping open yet.
