Brief Answer:
Antibiotics and removal.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
Infected sebaceous cyst is first of all treated by oral antibiotics like Augmentin (Amoxycillin and Clavulinic Acid). Once the infection subsides , any of the following method is used to treat it:
1. Incision and removal of the cyst.
2. Intralesional Steroid injections.
For infection to get under control and to yet it removed , you need to get your blood sugar under proper control.
See , your treating physician for blood sugar control.
I hope it helps.
If you have any further query please ask me.

Hello Doctor,

I have been suggested by physician to take Amoxycillin for 10 days and my question is whether it subsides? or should i take any other action please suggest.
And one more node is growing next to the cyst which is very initial stage
which is still under skin which is pointy. please suggest.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Infection will subside.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
In most people Infection subsides with Augmentin. You should take it as advised by your doctor.
Once Infection settles, you can go for sebaceous cyst removal sitting to a surgeon or dermatologist.
To prevent the new one developing, get your blood sugar controlled properly.
If you have any further query please ask me.
